A floral, unadorned style, with white peach, verbena, blanched almond and salted butter notes, followed by a racy, mineral-tinged finish. Drink now. 15,000 cases made. –JM

Grape Variety: 100% Marsanne

Terroir: The Appellation Crozes Hermitage is situated in the Northern Côtes-du-Rhône, left bank; the appellation spreads over 11 villages surrounding Tain-l'Hermitage. The area of Appellation is 1200 ha for red for a total of 2750 Acres. The soil is granite, fluvio-glacial alluvium. The climate is continental with Mediterranean influence. The authorized yield is 45 hl per ha.

Vinification:

Careful selection of grapes depending on the origin,. Direct pneumatic pressing. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature (60 to 64 ºF). Matured on lees for 6 months in stainless steel tank. Then early bottling.

Style:

Pale yellow color with emerald green tint. Rich nose more complex is revealing exotic fruits (pineapple, mango), anise and bitter almond aromas. A well-balanced and fresh wine and a lemony finish just like biting into a fresh, ripe grape.

Food Pairing:

Serve at 50ºF with all sorts of dishes (particularly with fish cooked with sauce), as well as with white meats. Perfect as an aperitif to awaken our senses.
