Situation: Northern Côtes-du-Rhône, right bank.

Grape Variety: 100 % Syrah.

Type of Soil: Granitic sand. Vines planted on terraces.

Climate: Continental with Mediterranean influence.

Yield : 40 hl per ha.

Area of the Appellation: 900 ha (65 ha for white).

Vinification: All grapes are destemmed; vatting around 15-20 days. Partial ageing in French oak barrels (50 % of the blend for 12 months).

Characteristics: Deep garnet-red color with purple tints. The nose is rich and powerful, developing fresh blackcurrant, red berries with a hint of spice and a touch of vanilla. Fresh and ripe on the palate, with a smooth tannic structure. Full bodied wine with a remarkable length representative of its origin. This wine is a fine blend of strength and elegance, with a perfectly harmonious finish.

Tasting: Can be enjoyed served at 16-18° (60°F) with red meats, grilled or in sauce, game "birds", and many cheeses.
